45 years ago today, John F. Kennendy was shot in Dallas. I was 11 years old at the time and in 7th grade. At the time I was starting my journey through juvenile delinquency, the 'counterculture'(never really was much into the peace and love-mainly the drugs and music), and drug addiction. I was in Gym class when I heard about it, and my first reaction as a young punk who fancied himself a conservative Republican was,"he deserved it". I watered the back yard residents today. We're supposed to get a little help with that situation later today and tomorrow. That's awesome. Can't wait.

If you'll pardon the white backdrop for the Sterling, I'd appreciate it. We had a 30-degree cold snap about 2 weeks ago, and I HAD to cover all my roses. There are five planted back here....three were inherited, and I transplanted the Sterling T sent in '07, and a cutting I took from the Galway Bay that resides at the samller house on the property.
